Is this art? I don’t know, but I need to do it…
Calling attention to the epidemic of domestic dog poop that invades the city of Buenos Aires, I place a little plastic canapé sword with the word Cambiemos (“Let’s change”) on top of the turds the that I find on the street. This action makes dog poop visible so that passers-by don’t step on it, while inviting change in a sense of community and neighborhood consideration. Also, Cambiemos is the name of the party that’s been in power governing Buenos Aires since 2017.
Cacambiemos (2017 – present): intervention in the public space.
